Marshmallow challenge.
The marshmallow challenge is a challenge where teamwork is essential. The point of the challenge is to construct the tallest freestanding structure made out of 20 pieces of spaghetti, a yard of tape and string and a marshmallow. The team that has the tallest structure and that can hold the marshmallow longest wins. This is to test whether a team is willing to work together, presenting ideas and constructing prototypes and are willing to make their way to the end result, finding the solution to the problem at hand.
My team had three within it, and we had 18 minutes to construct the structure. We came up with ideas that would support the marshmallow with three to four legs and would have a tall part that sticks out from the center. A tipi with a tall stick above it essentially. Our final result didn't work out at the end, but we did learn that teamwork is essential, and so is prototyping. Timing however wasn't on our side but i think if we had more time, we could've executed it successful.
