We had to come up with a utility for a pirate and his crew that could be used to wash themselves with.

The ideas rolled in elegantly and we started to brainstorm the possible items that he can use. We then turned to his hook for an arm, and decided that we could make it into a gadget so that it it convenient for him.

The hook design would have several built in items that he could use on the go. Hair and tooth brushes, and tooth paste. 

But we were not satisfied with the hook gadget, and decided on something that we all use. A shower. But not some ordinary shower, a shower that is retractable in its own right and can be used in his cabin quarters and house by the sea.

 We decided on a mechanism that would make sense to his era. No running water was invented in his time so we decided in a more practical approach to the water solution. We conferred that having water above him is the only viable solution to "running" water, as gravity can take care of the situation. He could mix the water to adjust temperature levels according to how much he opens the hatches etc. The shower is also fold able as well as retractable and can be hidden away for safety and aesthetic measures. 

Our project was good in my opinion, but if we had more time, we could've made impressive prototypes of the shower and hook gadget the pirate (or someone that's not on our team) Could test out.
